Stitches is, unfortunately, drawing to its inevitable close. It's a sort of sentimental time for me – I've had this comic for many years now, and it's been there for a good chunk of my youth. I'll certainly miss drawing it when the end comes, and just as much miss its fans' lovely comments and general response. It's been a great ride, guys, and I'll miss every one of you.

(Of course, there is its sister comic, Arkaedea [link] and after that there will be a joint sequel to both comics. But still, while I hope it'll be just as enjoyable, it can't, of course, be quite the same.)

...Anyway, just thought I'd do up a little something for my desktop to keep the memory going. (1280x800, but the generic background should be easily cropped to any size.) It's a fairly basic scene for Stitches, which I thought fitting. Just a little drawing on the roof of Angel's Institution. With chain-link, birds, and each other.
